resource amended I hadn’t uploaded the actual worksheet by mistake, only the preview, but now all available for download! Really sorry about that! This is a booklet of activities I have created for my Year 7/8 French class. It could also be used for cover as it is quite self explanatory and includes lots of activities and vocab. This resource includes 11 activities for students to practice telling the time in French such as writing the time shown on some clocks, or drawing the hands on the clocks according to a time given. It also comes with a word search and a crossword. Thank you!

This is a lesson I have created for module 4, unit 3 (Temas del momento). We use Edexcel in my school but I am sure it can be useful for AQA or easily adapted. This lesson includes: A starter task Retrieval practice (the imperfect tense - done in unit 2) A variety of activities (vocab, translation, reading, etc). Homework. All answers included and embedded in Power Point. The document is a Power Point file and completely editable. Please note that file sounds must be purchased from the exam board and that I cannot provide them.

This is a lesson I have created for the textbook Dynamo 2 (vert), Module 5 (Sport en direct), Unit 1 (C’est plus amusant!). In this lesson students learn about: Giving opinions about sports. Using the comparative in French. The lesson includes a vocab sheet, a starter task and a variety of activities (genuine reading, translation, vocab activities, etc). I teach a mixed-low ability group, therefore the activities are simple and easy to follow. This lesson could also be used as cover. Pl*ease note that I am not a French native speaker and my knowledge of French is intermediate. If you spot any mistakes, you can let me know and I am always happy to amend and re-upload the resource. The resource is also editable so that you can make any changes you want. *

Complete pack to teach Viva 1 - Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. This pack includes, for each module: All the resources students will need throughout the half term. They are all together as a booklet that you can print either in A4 or A5. The design has been made in B&W to cut down on costs. The booklet is included as PPT format and it is completely editable. Vocabulary pages. 6 to 8 lessons in PPT file with answers to all activities. It goes along nicely with Viva 1 textbook. It includes lots of extra activities. All lessons completely editable too. It does not include listening files as this are provided by the exam boards and must be purchased separately. However, if you look on the notes section of each slide it tells you what page and exercise from the textbook we are using. Includes a few pages with revision activities that students can complete before the assessment. This resource includes: A Power Point presentation (for teachers) to show students with information about the festival of Las Fallas (Valencia, Spain). In the Power Point students will learn about the origin, the building of the structures and the most important events taking part place during the festival. There are 15 activities for students to complete, including genuine reading, listening (through videos) and translation into both English and Spanish. It is an editable document and all answers are embedded. Some extension work provided. There is also a homework task. There is a Power Point (for students) which doesn’t show any answers and that you can send directly to the printer. Also both Power Points are included in pdf format. There are also links to videos and a Quizley set for students to practice with 40 words from the lesson.

The reason why I created this pack is because I wanted to get rid of exercise books and worksheets in the class. I think it works a lot better if students have a workbook and don’t have to spend time cutting and glueing resources on their books. I cannot wait to say goodbye to gluesticks!!!
